The Challenge
Atomicwork was at a key stage of growth and looking to hire a Lead / Senior Product Designer who could do more than just ship screens. The role required someone who could own the end-to-end design process, work closely with product and engineering, and help shape the design function as the company scaled.
Beyond strong design craft, the team was looking for experience in B2B SaaS, comfort with complex workflows, and a designer who genuinely aligned with Atomicwork’s culture and values.
Our Approach
Having worked with the Atomicwork team before, we already had a strong understanding of how they built products and collaborated internally. From the outset, Parasuram, one of the co-founders, was clear about the expectations from the role, which helped us anchor our search around intent rather than just titles.
As we reached out to designers in our network, we knew Atomicwork would be a compelling opportunity for candidates looking to take on meaningful ownership and leadership. Throughout the process, coordination from the Atomicwork team was seamless. Prajeetha ensured timely feedback, addressed questions transparently, and kept communication open on both sides.
As interviews progressed, Dhanush Parekh emerged as a strong fit - bringing the right mix of experience designing scalable B2B products, systems-level thinking, and the ability to lead design thoughtfully.
Outcome & What Made It Work
Working closely with the Atomicwork team, we ensured the interview process moved smoothly and efficiently, maintaining momentum while allowing space for meaningful conversations. This clarity and alignment ultimately led to Dhanush joining Atomicwork as their Lead Product Designer.
Following this hire, the team re-engaged with us to explore a Product Designer role as well. While that role wasn’t closed due to evolving hiring needs, Atomicwork remains a strong success story for us - not just because of the hire, but because of the partnership itself.
Clear expectations, open communication, and mutual trust made this collaboration both effective and genuinely enjoyable.
